a little over 18 weeks:)

                                                                            18 weeks

Not much has changed in the past two weeks. I feel like I am definitely showing and people are actually realizing I am pregnant. My belly is getting bigger by the day. I have been so incredibly hungry lately and have been eating about every two hours. Last weekend, Brian and I went to Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. We had a busy weekend, but we had an amazing time.  On Friday, we went to see the Hoover Dam and then spent 3 hours walking around the Grand Canyon. It was amazing and beautiful. We enjoyed every minute of it. On Saturday, we walked the entire strip in Vegas. We walked from Circus, Circus all the way to New York, New York and then back. We went into almost all the hotels and some shops along the way. That night we went to the Mystere Cirque de Soleil show and then after went to the Toby Keith bar. It was an eventful weekend and was very tiring for me, but I am so glad we went.

                                                              16 weeks and 4 days

The past two weeks have been great. I have been feeling about the same. I have had no new symptoms, so that has been nice. We have started to think about registering and we are trying to figure out what we need! I think it is quite overwhelming, but I have been reading some books to help us figure out what the best products are and what we actually will use/need.  Any suggestions are welcome!!!

On March 5th we had a sonogram. It was so incredible. We got to see our baby. We could not believe how much the baby has grown. The baby is now over 5 inches long. It has hands, legs, toes, fingers, etc.  The baby's foot is bigger than how big the baby was at our two month appointment. We thought that was amazing that it has grown that much in two months. Our little baby was moving for the entire sonogram. The baby was touching its toes, trying to suck its fingers, turned around, and would not stay still. The technician said we had a "very active baby." We were overjoyed to see the baby moving so much! The doctor's appointment went well and the baby's heartbeat still sounds strong:)
